MDX540 is the latest technology from Roland to create your conceptual and functional prototypes in-house. Roland's New MD540 is a major adavantage to all rapid prototyping producers, offering speed, precision, choice of materials and affordability.

The new Roland Modela Pro II, MDX-540 Benchtop Milling Machine is available in two UK configurations, with or without an automatic tool changer, with an interlock safety cover. The MDX540 is a perfect solution for Subtractive Rapid Prototyping (SRP) and industrial design applications including short-run production of a wide range of milling applications. Bundled with the MDX-540 is our CAM software Roland SRP Player and a convenient easy-to-navigate operation panel for all machine features including the optional rotary axis for multi-surface and cylindrical work. The two basic UK configurations:- (Note configurations can be different in other countries due the health and safety laws) New Roland Modela Pro II, MDX-540 Cutting area of up to 500mm(X) x 400mm(Y) x 155mm(Z), with saftey cover and standard accessories. New Roland Automatic tool changing Modela Pro II, MDX-540A Cutting area of up to 400mm(X) x 400mm(Y) x 155mm(Z), with 4 station ATC, saftey cover and standard accessories. Option for either model is the Roland ZCL-540 rotary axis unit for multi-surface or cylindrical cutting. Users need to choose tool holders, collets and tooling to complete their system. A few of the new features include a large working area, full command language to support G-codes and existing Roland ML languages, high operation speeds, integrated controller with USB operational panel, handy remote setting controller, delivering a faster and more powerful desktop CNC mill. It is the perfect solution for many in-house designers generating rapid prototyping and needing to output in a low-run production environment. The saftey enclosure allows you to site the machine right inside the design enviroment. UK Delivery time is normally ex-stock. This can be confirmed at time of ordering. Roland MDX540's are manufactured by Roland DG Corporation - Japan. Notes:- Users need to provide a suitable bench to install the machine on, this should cover the weight of machine, guard, tooling, workpiece and a safety allowance. For the MDX540A with ATC, the user needs to provide a suitable air supply. SRP Player supports machining of a wide variety of materials from light metals, chemical woods and resin to ABS including aluminum, brass and copper, although the ZCL540 is not recommended for metal cutting.   New Roland Facility come and see the products working !
