Digitisers !

Complimenting our range of 3D products we offer a range of scanning solutions to suit different applications. Each product offers a similar function to capture 3D objects, the results depend on the application required, the time to do the job and the output results required.

MicroScribe G2 & MicroScribe MX digitising arms offer a fully counter balanced arm which allows the user to capture precise geometry directly into their CAD software from the model surface. Building a model with complexed curves and splines is straight forward with a MicroScribe G2, it is a simple as using a mouse. USB and Serial interface. MicroScribe's are available in four variations:- G2, G2X, G2L and G2LX all supplied as complete system and starting around £2,500.00. It is still our best seller by far. If your are looking for inspection quality, then the MX's offer this, plus there is now the new complete MicroScan-3D laser scanning solution for about £14,250.

NEW Roland LPX-600 is the most automated 3D scanning system ever produced by Roland DG. The latest addition to the laser scanner family offers down to 0.2mm increments and works so simply that anyone can use it with ease. With the touch of a button, the LPX-600 previews your object, scans it, and automatically generates a detailed model with a watertight surface. If you business already uses reverse engineering software the LPX-600 is all you need, however, should you need software then PixForm Pro is available as an option for £3,495.00. A large cylindrical 254mm dia x 406mm high working volume with ultra optics, makes this affordable solution to compliment any desgin practice at £7,995.

Roland LPX-1200 Laser Picza, is 0.1mm step single point laser offering a125mm dia x 203mm high cylindrical area. This scanner is ideal for capturing small 3D objects where detail is required. Roland have made major advancements with LPX-1200 by using a cast aluminium base, ballscrews and glass optics, to name a few. Still it is not aimed to be a coordinate measuring device, however, the LPX-1200 is a great reverse engineering solution due to the precise cloud data generated in a relatively short time. For £12,995 you get a fine scanner, DrPicza scanning control software and PixForm Pro software (by INUS) all included in the box. Pixform Pro is designed to import the LPX1200 file format, then you have full control of aligning your scans with the added bonus to create curves to build NURB surfaces which are exported as IGES.

Roland LPX-250 Laser Scanner, Replaced by the LPX600 in January 2006. There are a couple of demo models available fof this scanner Call us for details.

Roland Touch Picza's, A brilliant unit, however, it has come to its end of life cycle, but we still have a couple of PIX-4's available.

Konica Minolta VIVID digitsers. Non-contact digitising 3-D scanner offer point and shoot camera technology that scans 307,000 pixel/mesh points in less than a second! The portability of the Vi units offer high speed accurate data capture, either directly to your PC in a couple of seconds, or directly onto an optional Compact Flash Memory card which can then be taken back to your base computer. With included utility software (Polygon Editing Tool for WindowsNT/2000/XP) you can assemble multiple scans and output it to other 3D applications via supported exports filters. The New VI-910 is approximately £29,000.00, accessories and other RE software are extra, so you could be spending around £35K to £40K for this solution depending on your application. We work in partnership with Konica Minolta UK on these specialist products to offer you the ultimate scanning solution. Going up a level the new VI-9i offers a whole new level with photogrametry and higher accuracy. Just over £35,000.00 for the VI-9i so with accessories and optional software you could be looking at £45K to £50K.

For surface and solid data, plus a more versatile reverse engineering solution, we supply Rapidform software, by INUS, which is available in a range of workbenches to be tailored to individuals requirements. With Rapidform's direct Konica Minolta interface you can either control the Vi-units directly or import data saved on the Flash card.

In summary, some customer have purchased high end solutions, some have purchased a combination of our solutions to add to their toolbox.
